Wine tours in Paris
Now that you have planned your holiday in the French capital and have settled in one of the serviced Paris apartments available to rent, you can do the most natural thing for the place and this is to book a wine tour in Paris. This is the easiest way to discover the gastronomy of the country and to enjoy the French wines, making most of the hospitality of the locals. There are various wine tours in Paris that could be considered and many companies that offer this service. Whichever you decide to do, you will absolutely love the experience and will want to come back. In this article I will try to present some of the wine tours that are done in Paris, but remember that these are not all of the available tours.

Le Bistro des Halle
The Left Bank Wine Promenade is a great tour which starts in Le Coup de Grace meeting point and is done in French and in English. The tour is organised each Saturday at 15.30h and lasts for three hours. This tour is held in the historic district of Paris and participants can enjoy the sight of many famous buildings along the tour. The tour aims to present the tourists with the wine culture of Paris, as they visit four or five bars and bistros and enjoy wine tastings. The Left Bank Wine Promenade tour usually includes three glasses of wine but does not cover the meals and the tips.
The other tour that deserves attention is the Right Bank Wine Promenade, which also lasts for three hours and is done in English and in French. The tour starts at Le Bistro des Halles, each Saturday at 15.30h. The tour covers four or five wine bars and bistros that are popular among the locals and it also covers several landmarks, famous churches and nice buildings along the way. This tour includes tasting of three glasses of wine, but does not include the meals that you might order. 
Each day at 12.15h at rue Jean-Jacques Rousseau starts a Wine and Cheese Lunch in Paris that lasts for 1.5 hours and tempts the tourists to try two of the finest delicacies in France – wine and cheese. The tour is done by an experienced French sommelier, who is an expert on wines. The participants will be explained not only the qualities of certain wines, but also how to taste the wine properly, which are the main wine regions in France, and will also be explained why a certain wine matches a certain cheese. This tasting of wine is also served with bread baskets and smoked ham from the southwestern part of the country.
Another great wine tour is the Champagne Tasting Cruise down the Seine River, which is among the night tours in Paris. It starts at Les Vedettes de Paris Port Suffren, the dock by the Eiffel Tower and lasts for one hour. The tour is done in French and in English and is available on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 6 o’clock in the evening. The cruise will cover some of the most famous landmarks of Paris, while the participants shall taste three types of champagne – Demi-sec, Brut and Rose.
